Robert Ponterio is Professor of French at the State University of New York College at Cortland. He is a moderator of FLTEACH, the Foreign Language Teaching Forum email list. He has published numerous articles and is a recipient of the Anthony Papalia Award for Outstanding Article on Foreign Language Education and the Dorothy S. Ludwig Award for Service to the Foreign Language Teaching Profession. He has co-authored the culture notes in the Bien dit! program and reviewed all the Géoculture sections.
