Dr. Maria Elena Arguelles

Dr. María Elena Argüelles specialized in the area of early reading instruction and reading instruction for English language learners. Dr. Argüelles has worked for the Central Reading First Regional Technical Assistance Center and the University of Texas, Austin, and as reviewer for the Florida Center for Reading Research. Her insights into instruction for English language learners contributed to the development of support for those students in the Big Day for PreK curriculum.
