Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Signs ‘Our Boston’ – A Special Anthology in Celebration of the City, All Proceeds to Benefit The One Fund - Boston


BOSTON — Boston-based publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt has acquired Our Boston: Writers Celebrate the City They Love, to be published on Oct. 1, 2013.  The anthology, edited by Andrew Blauner, will feature original essays on the Hub by Pico Iyer, Chip McGrath, James Atlas, Charlie Pierce and Lesley Visser, among many others, as well as previously published pieces by writers including John Updike, George Plimpton, Susan Orlean, and Robert Pinsky. All proceeds from the book will be donated to The One Fund - Boston to benefit victims of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15.
